Dan Hafield, ALC, was sworn in as 2010 National President of the REALTORS Land Institute (RLI) at the RLI Inaugural, which was held November 13, in conjunction with the NAR Annual Conference & Expo in San Diego.
NAR President Charles McMillan conducted the swearing in ceremony, and Travis Kessler of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS served as Master of Ceremonies at the Inaugural event.
A licensed broker since 1982, Hatfield is broker/owner of Hatfield Realty Inc. of Medina, Texas. For more than 29 years, he has specialized in farm and ranch real estate in Texas. Since that time, he has been active in the REALTOR association at the local, state and national levels.
A member of the Bandera County Board of Realtors (BCBOR), Hatfield has held nearly every key leadership role with the local board, serving as a director from 1998-2002 and moving up the ladder to president in 1993 and again in 1998. Hatfield’s outstanding work in the real estate industry has earned him numerous local awards, including 1997 Farm and Ranch REALTOR of the Year and the REALTORS? Land Institute’s Lifetime Distinguished Service Award in 2002. He was also honored by the National Association of REALTORS with the Omega Tau Rho award and was selected as Land REALTOR of America in 2007.
In 2007 Dan achieved the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) Designation, conferred to only those land professionals who achieve the highest levels of education and experience.
