Terri Jensen has been honored for her leadership and vision as president of the Minnesota Chapter of the REALTORS Land Institute, the recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Chapter award. The award is given by the REALTORS Land Institute, a national membership organization serving the leading professionals in land.
Jensen has been a REALTOR with Wingert Realty & Land Services, Inc. of Mankato, Minnesota, since 2005, in addition to being president and owner of Jensen Appraisal & Consulting, LLC. She is a Certified Residential Real Property Appraiser since 1991 and is working towards earning the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation.
While serving as the 2009 president of the Minnesota Chapter, Jensen organized marketing sessions, contributed to the National Chapter Advisory meetings, and participated in a partnership opportunity that increased chapter revenue. The Outstanding Chapter award is given out annually to the state chapter of the REALTORS Land Institute that demonstrates the most contributions to the RLI organization and its members.
The award was presented to the leadership team of the Minnesota Chapter at the REALTORS Land Institute’s Annual Convention, which was held in San Diego in conjunction with the National Association of REALTORS Annual Conference & Expo.
Keith Morris, ALC and 2009 National President of RLI, presented the award. During his remarks, Morris said, “Terri has been tireless and active--attending all of the National Chapter Advisory meetings, asking questions, sharing best practices with other members, and making sure the Minnesota chapter participates in partnership opportunities for revenue sharing.”
Jensen is up for re-election as president of the Minnesota chapter again in 2010. The chapter is working on the development of a new website and quarterly newsletters covering news from members and officers, educational opportunities, ethics reminders, and social and networking events.
