An award winning Realtor, Valerie made her debut in real estate in 2007, leveraging her engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology to bring a unique, techno-savvy approach to the real estate industry. Her ability to think outside the box ensures she finds innovative solutions to any real estate challenge.  She brings technical experience, determination, creative marketing and a passion for land.

Before transitioning to real estate, Valerie gained invaluable experience in land sales, where she did small land developments and investing in single-family homes. This background provided her with deep insights into the complexities of land and investment transactions, making her a sought-after expert in the field.

Valerie has achieved significant success in her career as a Realtor. Starting with Prudential Georgia Realty, she was named Rookie of the Year in her first year. Valerie's de termination and innovative approach quickly propelled her forward, allowing her to navigate rentals, short sales, and assist clients in any way possible during the real estate recession. As the market recovered, she soared, earning a spot as a top 50 producer for her company.

When Prudential Real Estate was sold to Berkshire Hathaway, Valerie continued to excel, consistently ranking in the company's top ten for several years, reaching as high as sixth place. Unafraid of challenges, Valerie's expertise spans single family homes, rentals, commercial land, commercial buildings, farms and subdivisions. Her versatility and tenacity have made her an accomplished and respected figure in the real estate industry.

As a certified Luxury Agent and Relocation Specialist, Valerie’s diverse portfolio includes luxury estate farms and luxury homes across Georgia. Her ability to handle a wide range of properties showcase her comprehensive knowledge and adaptability in the real estate market.

In December 2024, Valerie successfully concluded the extension coursework, examinations, property documentation assessments, essay and resume achieving the Real Estate Land Institute's esteemed Accredited Land Consultant designation. Achieving this designation, which is held by fewer than 800 professionals nationwide, will undoubtedly distinguish her in the field. Beyond her professional achievements, Valerie is committed to conservation and community service. She serves on the board of The Barn Group, a non-profit dedicated to conservation and mitigation banking of land, demonstrating her dedication to preserving our country’s natural beauty.

Valerie's passion for running is evident in her impressive achievements: completing over 90 marathons, including 13 Boston Marathons, an Ironman in 2005, and 44 consecutive Peachtree Road Races. Her dedication to the sport extends beyond personal accomplishments, as she co ntinuously finds ways to give back to the running community.

Her leadership journey began with a two-year tenure as President of the Atlanta Track Club, where she helped promote and support the local running scene. Recognizing her commitment and influence, Valerie was then appointed to the board of the Atlanta Youth Running Foundation, where she has served as President for over 15 years. Through this role, she has been instrumental in fostering a love for running among young athletes and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.

Valerie's ultimate act of giving back to the sport and the land she cherishes came when she purchased a farm, affectionately named "Tarabithia." Here, she combined her love for running and nature by developing a cross-country course for youth running teams. For eight years, Valerie hosted cross-country meets at Tarabithia twice each fall, providing young runners with a unique and inspiring environment to compete and grow.
