The prestigious RLI APEX Awards Program, sponsored by The Land Report, is an annual production awards program designed to recognize the excellence and performance of our RLI members, the best in the business. Winners of our annual APEX Awards are recognized at a special awards ceremony at our annual National Land Conference.
In 2021, the production minimum was increased to $5 million and a new Agribusiness category was added.
In 2023, Regional Broker of the Year awards are being added for the same land sales categories as National Broker of the Year. There will be one award recipient for each category of land sales across 10 U.S. regions for a total of up to 80 regional award recipients.

Pay the $150 Application Fee

All applicants must:
- pay the $150 entry fee which includes a ticket to the awards ceremony at NLC23;
- be current members of RLI, with dues paid for the year in which the awards will be conferred; and
- meet the minimum $5 million basis of qualifying volume to apply to receive any of the awards in the program.
APEX Awards Categories and Criteria
Top National Producer Award
The 'APEX Top National Producer Award' recognizes the applicant with the highest dollar volume in closed land transactions for the year.
Top 20 National Producers
The top twenty overall producers will be recognized as the 'RLI APEX Top 20' producers.
National Brokers of the Year
A top '2023 Broker of the Year' will be recognized in each of the following categories:
- Ag Land Sales Crops
- Ag Land Sales Ranches
- Recreational Land Sales
- Timber Land Sales
- Commercial Land Sales
- Residential Land Sales
- Auction Land Sales
- Agribusiness Sales
Regional Brokers of the Year
The top brokers in each of RLI's 10 regions will be recognized in each of the following categories:
- Ag Land Sales Crops
- Ag Land Sales Ranches
- Recreational Land Sales
- Timber Land Sales
- Commercial Land Sales
- Residential Land Sales
- Auction Land Sales
- Agribusiness Sales
Wrangler Award
The 'Wrangler Award' recognizes the applicant with the most number of individual closed transactions for the year.
ALC to ALC Networking Award
This is awarded to the largest ALC to ALC land transation for the year.
APEX Producers Club
All applicants who submit the $5 million minimum of qualifying dollar volume in closed land deals will be recognized for their achievement by being included in the 'RLI APEX Producers Club'.
