Craig Kaiser, President & Co-Founder, LandGate

Craig Kaiser is the President and co-founder of LandGate. He is the former Owner and Chairman of Kamara Kaiser Mining Company, a non-profit West African precious minerals mining organization. He is also a former executive in Alaunt Exploration, a private equity (Warburg Pincus) backed exploration company focused on energy assets in Colorado and Wyoming. Craig has worked for Anadarko Petroleum, Newfield Exploration, Lion Mountain Mining Co., among other energy companies serving in areas of focus ranging from greenfield exploration to full-scale project development. He received a BSc. in Geosciences from Chadron State College where he also earned NCAA Football First Team All-Conference honors. He later earned an MSc. in Petroleum Geology from the Colorado School of Mines while receiving fellowships and scholarships from Devon, BP, and numerous other academic and industry organizations. His thesis, “The Graneros-Greenhorn Petroleum System: Greater Wattenberg Area, Denver Basin, Colorado”, was later published and won Paper of the Year for 2014 in the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. He and his wife Elizabeth have been blessed with four beautiful little girls.

Chip Bubela, Broker for Bubela Real Estate

William “Bill” Lewis, ALC, CCIM

Bill Lewis is an Accredited Land Consultant, an ALC, through Realtors Land Institute. He is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member and holds the CCIM Designation for proven expertise in commercial real estate. Raised in Montana, a cutting horse trainer since the early 80’s, a rancher for 20 years in Texas with a 5000 acre LEASED ranch operation and a 450 head COW/CALF herd, Bill is a Commercial Real Estate Investor, a Horseman, a Rancher, and a Husband, known for his Character, Skill, and Work Ethic.

As an Oil & Gas Consultant, Bill has represented 100’s of mineral property owners as their AGENT in negotiations for Oil & Gas leases, mineral sales & acquisitions, and pipeline easements and he has been a speaker at town hall meetings with mineral owners on the value of agency.

Peter Mazeine, ALC, CCIM, Senior Land Investment Advisor at National Land Realty; Managing-Member, Providence Land Advisors, LLC

Peter G. Mazeine, ALC, CCIM is the Senior Land Investment Advisor at National Land Realty and the Managing-Member of Providence Land Advisors, LLC, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He specializes in private land investment with a focus on the commercial, transitional, energy and agricultural sectors.

Peter received a business degree from the University of Vermont in 1990 and is a principal in partnerships which own and manage over 35,000 acres of farmland, ranchland, and timberland throughout the United States. In addition to his broad experience in the agricultural land sector, he has an extensive background in commercial real estate development, land banking, gas, oil & solar lease negotiations and conservation easement monetization.


Joette Schalla

Joette Schalla resides in Pueblo, CO.  She was raised in a ranching family in eastern Colorado, which led her to develop an interest in real estate. She watched her parents buy and sell a few properties over time, which allowed them to greatly expand their ranching operation, teaching Joette about the opportunities people can create by buying and selling real estate.
 
Joette attended college on academic and rodeo scholarships, graduated with a business degree from Oklahoma Panhandle State University, and decided on a real estate career as soon as she finished college.  Along with selling real estate, she owns ranch land and runs a commercial cow/calf operation. Owning her ranch properties has led her to firsthand experience with solar and wind development.  She has been licensed in Colorado for 19 years and has been a member of RLI since 2019.


Diana Rivera, Development Director, Lightsource bp

As Development Director at Lightsource bp, Diana Rivera leads greenfield development of utility-scale solar and storage projects across the United States. Her team builds partnerships with landowners while completing early-stage due diligence and development of projects on their land. 

Diana started her career as an industrial engineer, manufacturing aircraft engines in GE’s Operations Management Leadership Program and as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, reducing supply chain costs for gas turbine power plants. Diana transitioned into wind energy development at EDP Renewables and then joined Clean Line Energy Partners to unlock constrained wind with transmission. For five years, she co-led development of Grain Belt Express, a direct current transmission line to deliver 4 gigawatts of wind power from Kansas to states farther east. More recently, she developed utility-scale and behind-the-meter solar projects with Merit SI before joining Lightsource bp in 2021. Diana holds a BS cum laude in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
